Dealer only sewing machines Vs. On-line sewing machines
I cant even count how many times I have heard "well, I can find it online cheaper", but what people do not understand is that the key word is CHEAPER. You get what you pay for, just like anything.
Brother has two lines of machines, "Mass produced machines" and "dealer only machines". The "mass produced" sewing and embroidery machines are sold in the big brand stores like wal-mart and online; they are made with more plastic on the inside. The more plastic a machine has the more trouble you will have and the less durable the machine will be. I think personally think sometimes Brother gets a bad rep from the on-line machines, but they are set at a beginner level and price point. When you buy from a big box store you the warranty makes you send it back to the dealer if there is any issue, meaning you will have to pay for shipping and all!! On the other hand they have "dealer only machines"; which is ALWAYS the better way to go. Not only are dealer only machines made to a better quality, but you will receive benifits from the dealer.
Straight from the Dealer.
When buying from a dealer you are not only buying a new sewing, embrodiery, or quilting machine, you are also getting one-on-one time, quality service, a better warranty, discounts and club invites, and actual help from an actual person. Usually sewing machine dealers are local and family owned. You can't go wrong supporting your local economy. Yes wal-mart is easy and on-line is fast, but who will teach you how to thread your machine? Will wal-mart or any other name brand let you take it out and sew on it? How can you tell the stitch quality on the computer?
When purchasing a machine from The 1 Sewing Center you will receive unlimited/free lessons on the use of your machine and two years free service. We also offer a one year trade in policy.
